Affordable Public WiFi Systems Launched in Northern Region

We are excited to announce the successful launch of our affordable public WiFi systems in partnership with Starlink, bringing reliable high-speed internet access to underserved communities across the Northern Region. This groundbreaking initiative represents a major step forward in our mission to bridge the digital divide and foster digital inclusion throughout Ghana.

Pilot Launch in Savelugu Municipality

The program has officially commenced with a pilot deployment in the Savelugu Municipality, where we have established 10 public WiFi hotspots in strategic locations including:

- Savelugu Market Square

- Savelugu Senior High School

- Municipal Library

- Community Health Center

- Seven additional community centers

How to Access Our WiFi Services

For Individual Users:

Accessing our affordable internet services is now easier than ever. Simply dial *920*129# from any mobile device to:

- Purchase daily, weekly, or monthly WiFi vouchers

- Check data balance and validity

- Locate nearest WiFi hotspots

- Get customer support

For Businesses and Entrepreneurs:

We are empowering local businesses to become internet service providers in their own communities. Through our partnership program, businesses can:

- Obtain software licenses to deploy and manage community-based internet services

- Access our proprietary management system for user authentication and billing

- Receive technical training and ongoing support

- Leverage our bulk purchasing power for Starlink equipment

Impact and Benefits

This initiative is already transforming digital access in the region:

Education: Students can now access online learning resources, research materials, and educational platforms that were previously unavailable due to connectivity constraints.

Healthcare: Medical facilities can now utilize telemedicine services, access online medical databases, and improve patient record management.

Commerce: Local businesses can expand their reach through e-commerce, access digital payment systems, and connect with suppliers and customers nationwide.

Employment: Youth are gaining access to online job opportunities, remote work possibilities, and digital skills training platforms.

Future Expansion Plans

Building on the success of our Savelugu pilot, we plan to expand to 5 additional municipalities in the Northern Region by Q3 2025, with a goal of establishing 100+ public WiFi hotspots serving over 50,000 residents.

Partnership Opportunities

We are actively seeking partnerships with:

- Local government authorities

- Educational institutions

- Community-based organizations

- Private sector companies

- Development partners

Join us in our mission to create a digitally inclusive Ghana where every community has access to reliable, affordable internet connectivity.
